Naw dude I'm not going to bust your balls...just like to know who I am sharing info with. Fill out your sig & tell us about yourself.
But anyway,I thought that a few roofs ago when my ground man said "Hey Boss is this roof back here supposed to be smokin like this???" It kinda freaked me out so I told him to keep an eye on it. It was not a hot day.It was first thing in the morning & maybe 60 degrees???? So what do you think it was??

As a friendly gesture, I will inform you that nothing you did caused this. Sh is not flamable, Most water in my part of the country is also not flamable. Gain laundry soap may be flamable if you mixed it with the proper amount of gasoline??
Aside from those FACTS, I can not offer any thing else that may have caused this, except for extreme heat on the roof, causing the run-off to somewhat melt some very low quality vinyl siding.
Hope this helps. Come back anytime, we're here to help
