Got a call from a property manager of a condo complex. He wants to condos siding washed. Three sides are vinyl, the fronts are cultured stone. He told me the builder said not to ever pressure wash the stone.  That is why I got the call. I soft wash.

 My question is, has anyone washed culture stone ? Any special chems needed ?

 The stone is just dirty, nothing special as far as need for cleaning. I'm thinking a regular house wash will clean it good.

What do you mean by cultured stone? If it is a castcrete or even a type of marble you should be fine with using even a light roof mix. By light I mean around 30% SH. If it is man made you should be ok but I would do a test spot in an inconspicuous area first. Jon

http://www.culturedstone.com/literature/docs/62433_CS_install_instructions.pdf page 6 mentions cleaning. It says granulated soap or detergent and a bristle brush.. Good luck!
