Just saw this at Home Depot and bought one. Not bad for $15.97 for doing demos or tight areas. The seals are all made out of Viton and the rest is all poly. No metal on any of it. Just thought I'd share for those interested.
I said the same thing. Everywhere you look in my garage, shed and the side of my house you will find deceased pump sprayers and backpack sprayers. They probably won't get fixed. More than likely the next big sealing job I get, I will be back at depot buying a new one, use it for a while and then add it to the graveyard pile.

Ok I think y'all missed my point by posting this. Yes they're essentially disposable, however it's somewhat rare to find a pump sprayer with all viton seals. This is nothing more than another tool in the arsenal. I just thought others might find it useful for those that do free demos and don't want to drag out hose. In theory it SHOULD hold up far better to the love than regular pump sprayers.
I use them mostly for applying gutter cleaner. And I let it sit in there from job to job. But yea, they can be emptied and and rinsed each time also. Either way though,.. rinsing the wand is the key, no matter how you do it.

Good heads up on this sprayer!
I have half a dozen of these myself.
But I use them mainly for spraying waterproofer, chalk binder and poly pebble sealer.
I would be afraid that if I used one for a demo, the homeowner would think "Heck, $500.00 ? I can buy a pump up sparyer for 10 bucks and do it myself"
I prefer to do a demo, with equipment that they can't grab up at Home Depot.
Just my thoughts on Demos.
Oh, and ya, Jeff is definately McGuiver the 2nd!

Hey Chuck, that's a good point about the pump sprayer demos.
Also might I add,..if anyone does choose to to add upgraded hose to their sprayer, simple air hose will work. The PVC/rubber blend is a good choice.
Buy a "whip" line that is like 6' long,... cut it in half, and now you have two hoses with threaded ends to attach the QC,..instead of using clamps at the wand end.
I would try to do the demo at a time you could complete the job as well.
After all, if they get 20% of the worst part of their roof cleaned, they'd be the oddball case, if they didn't say "go ahead and do it all"
Plus, when they see the whole big rig, the thought doesn't cross their mind, that they can do the same thing themselves.
My main mix is simply 35-50 gal SH & 1/2 - 1 gal ammonyx lo to 100 gal h20 tank.
Most customers ask me what is in it, so I also have a bunch of chems like Simple Cherry, Simple Green, alcohol, tsp, dawn, etc that I've either bought to try, bought for certain jobs or I no longer use.
If I think they look like do it your-selfers, I tell them the honest truth [ it becomes the truth at that moment, because I will do this now, although there may only be a half cup of each added to my SH/Ammonyx mix ]
I say:"It's different on many roofs, but on yours I'd use a combination of 6 chemicals, most of which are available through supply stores specific to this business and commonly used for roof cleaning, mixed to a safe dilution with water. Your plants with be tarped and or watered constantly for protection"
After the demo, it's day and night on the 20% and my price on the spot is say $400.00 but $450 if I have to return. = Done deal usually.
