Rodney, its a surfactant called NP9. It works GREAT, but fights your mix and will completely obliterate it within 12 hours leaving you with salt water. It should only be used in the most extreme cases.

Very True, and that was an 'extreme case' on that roof!

That is what was reccomended to me.

I think it helps reduce regrowth.

Well I'm cornfused!!!! I would think killing it and not rinsing would do the trick. I'm sure that after a few good rains there isn't anything left.

SOME Algaecides provide additional longer lasting protection then the bleach alone.
