First roof price? HELP

Controlling the runoff will be fun! i would price it less than 6k.

seriously, think hard about controlling the runoff, price accordingly. When determining pricing guidlines, what is your minimum? how high CAN you go? what is your cost? You must determine all of these factors for yourself. We clean roofs to start at $400 (that is to show up, i don't care how small) we have cleaned some as high as 850-1125. That is here in Northern Virginia. I have calculated my cost, I know what the business must make to turn a profit on each job. I will sell myself short on occassion for the sake of cash flow, but i always have a starting point. Determine YOUR starting point.

Ok I will re word the question. How much would you charge them? Or tell me how much mix it will take so I can figure out my cost and show up with the right amount of chemical.

I'd charge around between $1,000 to $1,200 for that roof, but I'm in Maryland and prices are quite different than they are in Florida. However, the pictures you show make the house look much smaller than it looks from Google Earth...

I can't give an accurate estimate on cleaning solution usage since we've never gotten a call for anything but shingle roofs over here.

Chad and Josh give me a call before you bid that roof.

#1. Run off will be a problem
#2. It will suck up solution like a camel.
#3 The GM on that roof is worse than you think.
#4 living sqft is 3486 you have to add garage and figure in pitch. That's easily a 4k roof.

I can do that roof with under 50 gallons.
Most people would use 60-80.

In Fla we're luck to get $400 on that roof.

I would go $500.But if you are itchin to get your feet wet go $450 to get it & chalk it up as a learning experience. Take your time & do it right.Track your time & how much product you use and use that as a guage for future work. Do a super good job and ask them if you can add them as a reference.Do not tell them this is your first time!!

You aren't going to lose money even if you priced it at $300, you just wouldn't make much from it haha.

Florida prices stink, but I guess the cost of living is much less expensive over there than it is here.
