Excellent information Chris. How can you get a bigger coverage area? I come up in Cleveland, but not in the surrounding areas? Does anyone know what % of people use the places, over the organic listing?
Can you add your Biz in more than one place?? Like a family members house in another county? and another etc...
Yes you can! Google will send out a verification card to that address you listed with a code you'll have to enter. We try to center ourselves within a zone and then set the radius.

The TRICK to making your place page come up in surroundng areas is to have these areas you serve added at the footer (bottom) of every page on your website! IOW, Polish Roof Cleaning of Cleveland serves Astabula,Shaker Heights,,The Flats, and all of Cuyhoga County Ohio. Then, on your place page description, add the same info! Got to be careful though to not list EVERY single area and hamlet you service, or you will dilute keyword density and mess yourself up for the roof cleaning Cleveland main search!
Good piece of info. I was wondering if I could post in multiple places.
Thanks,
