What is the intent? Staff meaning on PWI site for roof cleaning?
I am not on PWI because I am a roof cleaner only. You need to help me out here. Are there certified roof cleaners on PWI staff now or does PWI want to start with cerified roof cleaners on staff?

Chris Tucker was our resident expert on roof cleaning for years. PWI has all the actual experts in the industry for mobile cleaning. KEC , Equipment, Fleets , wood and will have many more.
PWI has no certification of any kind and never will.
This site is the leading site in the entire cleaning industry. It service is to the industry and the leaders of the industry.
PWI yes has many certified roof cleaners from the RCIA, including most of your BOD. The site was founded by many of us over 10 years ago. PWI runs under the contractor control, its admin by :
Grant Mogford, he has the most certified people working for one single company 50 guys (KEC) IKECA.org
Scott Stone (parking garage cleaning Certified in Reclaim) PWNA.org
Russ Spence ( introduced the Reclaim certification process to the industry in 2008)
These guys are contractor who run pwi with 21 other Staff behind the scenes.
PWI is not owned by me its the industry site, that also means Roof cleaners.
Some of you do not know that personally tried to get Chris to start the RCIA and take it to this Level Years ago. Clear back even before the RCIA exsited.
Many of the Roof cleaners from this site are on PWI or TGS. TGS is also a sister site to PWI. Beth and Rod who own TGS also started on PWI.
WE all came from DCS1.com the old delco bbs, there was also a place called Davesbb.com... PWN was created to replace those for the contractor, it then became property of distributor. SO we started PWI to have a Place to talk about cleaning. Pressure Cleaning mostly and since many guys use pressure washer to clean we developed a roof cleaning area thats years old.
Chris Tucker has 1000's of posts on PWI
Thats a bit of the history and today PWI remains the contractors BBS for the cleaning industry.
PWI directs people to the best resource for Roof cleaning or window cleaning. We do not care about the traffic or SEO. The site is very busy and is a powerhouse tool for SEO. Many roof gusy here do not want me spilling the beans on that. The best roof cleaning site around is RCIA.
I'm a member of all cleaning organizations, I own NCE and we deal with house washers to mobile detail guys on various places on the web. Today I'm not representing NCE I'm helping the roof cleaners and the contractors who want to become roof cleaners around the Globe.
These spots are not admins spots but regular Staff spots to help the future growth of your industry.
If your a Leader in this industry we would like to help you support your industry by helping us.
We believe in what the RCIA is doing, we have seen the success in other industrys. All of them have progams like yours.
You will have noticed I also mention alternatives. If your methods are correct they will always rise above others no matter what!!
Hope that helps and you guys understand what PWI is about, its simple. We find the best resource for all needs in the industry. We direct the contractors to them if we cannot give the answers. Its just that simple.

PWI also has the guru of Grease Phil Akland on staff from PAC, PAC is one of the most popular and most regonized grease training and certifications in the industry. Phil is now a expert witness for the KEC industry. Phil testifys on fire scenes caused by poor cleaning process.
If the RCIA ever works in the commercial work for any hospitality business knowing phil is a great resource. He is the guy and has written the manuals most all train from.
Some of you would say whats that got to do with roof cleaning. Grease is on the roof and becomes fuel for fire, I realize most here are residential service people and do not deal with this. There will be a time down the raod this will be a thought in commercial roof cleaners, the exhaust cleaning bsuiness has made laws and practice about these processes and in some states and citys in required to carry there certification to touch the systems.

Thanks for the history. Now I understand and can see the direction. Not sure I could bring much to the table? Though I am a big believer in networking.
Also, given time is limited, I am going to support RCIA in the background, provided the new direction continues and progress is being made to better the roof cleaning industry. I do agree that if SEO is your goal than the open forum on RCIA, as PWI, are places to be. Though I rank number 1 in all local search, my RCIA posts are right there also.
My interest is industry building. Once the growing pains and ego's get behind us, I am sure there are those that will move this roof cleaning industry forward, given the experience, both industry and business, that a number on here have.
Given your explanation, it appears that PWI has identified the skill set of the members and utilizes such. Of course there is always the 80/20 rule in any org., identifying the skill set of the 20% and there willingness to utilize such will be key to building this roof cleaning industry. Until such time this is formulated it is all " pie in the sky".
I do like the concept you purposed.

Thanks anyway Bruce, keep up the great work on your site and the RCIA.
I couldnt find your site how customer look for commercial service cleaning providers. I do realize you are looking for residential clients, how do you think they really search for you as a roof cleaner? Just curious
A note I'm impressed with your site the 50 points are something that should be required of all members in this association even if they are seeking certification and have not reached it.

Before you click the first link out of the twelve are RCIA. Then you!!! The very first link appears to be you but is not. WHY???
As a National Association you guys really need to move the BBS to the site that is dedicated for the ORG.
Everyone that looks for roof cleaners incorporates the word pressure in there search. ( PERIOD) or at least a few million a month compared to the few thousand that use roof only.
These are facts, you can run your own test or find the facts online.
Just trying to help you not cause a stir.

Good point about pressure being a key word, never that of such given I don't pressure wash. Need to work on that in away that doesn't misrepresent but gets the hit. Thanks for the heads up.

Very pleased with the response of the guys, I'm not ignoring you if you PMed me or contacted me. I will get to them all by end of week. I'm sending them over to PWI for the staff to approve, all will get approved who wanted to help. Just the guys who may have other talents might be asked to do others areas.
Thanks
