Now for those who charge by the sqft or square...

What is the multiplier for each angle?
0/12 (flat) is length x width x pitch which is 0

Is a 4/12 length x width x pitch @ 1.20 or 1.25 to determine the sqft?

i read in a previous thread to break it up into 3 groups, 1) walkable, @1.20, 2) steep, need harness, @1.40 3) too steep, @1.60

if you have an iphone 3gs or higher you can get the Geo Estimator app. It has a pitch gage that allows you to lay your phone on the rake of the roof or use the camera function to line the rake up through the camera lens.
Clear as mud??
Someone download it try it out and give better instructions.

Pitch gauge 2.0 for iPhone. Works well I use it all the time, just like you said lay phone on roof or turn on camera and eye it up. Program allows you to add LxW then pitch and last is cut level. Gives you total square footage with and without waste.
