In reviewing some of you fellas websites I noticed as much as a 5 year warranty offered. I haven't been doing this long enough to feel comfortable honestly telling a customer they will not have any issues for more than a year at this point. What is your warranty length and what does it cover? Do you offer a discount for maintenance programs?
Aaron, There is a lot of info about warranty's and it really being a regional issues. For Fl. some do no warranty , some do 2 some 5. Guys have different theory's on this. Some choose the no warranty and up sell a maintenance program, Some sell on the warranty they offer. Some believe the yearly contact with the client is viable for business and growth, like referrals or additional services if they offer ie: window washing, pressure washing, paver sealing etc. But there is a lot to find that is already written if you use the search on the guest side it has been discussed more there than here. BTW WELCOME to RCIA!! Will you be attending the Tampa R/T? Kim R

Having hired AC for his 1 week Wilderness Excursion, he taught me some proprietary secrets that allow Scott & I to offer a 5 year warranty. We are using his tried over time tested formula. When his chemicals finally go on the market, I highly suggest using them. I have beaten out the competition many times because they only offered 2 year and recommended it be cleaned again after 3 years.
I'm in Florida and I offer to come back and clean the roof if stains reappear within one year. My business model is built on selling an annual maintenance program for 25% of original cleaning price. Under our maintenance program we will come out each year and clean debris from the roof and spray a light cleaning solution to retard any growth that may be ocurring. This provides an opportunity to get in front of our customer and sell a house wash, gutter cleaning, etc. each year. Getting customers to agree to a maintenance program builds recurring income that will be valuable when I decide to retire and sell my business. If a customer takes our maintenance program we agree that if stains occur at any time we will come out and clean the roof for free.
