Introducing Myself..Looking to Gain Hands on Experience

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I have been reading through the forum for a couple weeks now and have been finding a lot of great information along with learning a ton. I am looking to start up my own business and after doing a little research in my area and reading more into the roof cleaning biz, I thought why not. Here is my only concern...I have never had any hands on experience cleaning roofs, dealing with chemicals, and not familiar with the equipment used. Yes I have done marketing for past jobs and businesses so I'm familiar in this category. However, I would like to know how dealing with this kind of a business would be day to day hands on before I decide to spend quite a bit of money to get this up and running and then decide this is not for me. 

So, what I am trying to get at is, would anyone be willing to show me the ropes for a few days, maybe even a week? I would love a chance to follow around someone with experience and gain a lot more hands on knowledge before I take a big leap into this biz.

I am located in the northeast, so anyone down south that would be willing to pass on some knowledge would be awesome.. Florida preferably biggrin

I am not looking for $, just some experience and knowledge from the pros..

You can watch for events at Contractor Events - or you can make plans to grab one of the last seats left for Myrtle Beach at the end of this month!
