Here we are doing a Tile Roof Cleaning in Tampa for a repeat customer in Tampa Palms.
Tile Roofs in Tampa do not stay clean as long as shingle roofs do, unfortunately.
Tampa Palms was getting roof cleaning letters, and we wound up doing one of the neighbors Barrel Tile Roof. The neighbor had some Tampa Roof Cleaning Company clean her tile roof, and give her a 10 year warranty, LOL
Needless to say, the fly by night roof cleaning company flew the coop, after they stole business from honest people cleaning roofs.

Here is the neighbors tile roof we did in Tampa Palms that day as well.
This tile roof was white barrel tile, we had to given it a couple of coats of the roof cleaning chemical to get it spotless. The Tampa Palms Homeowners Association is really anal about clean roofs, and inspect most every job. We all know white barrel tile shows every spot, and we wanted it to look right. It was very hot in Tampa when we did this tile roof cleaning. So hot we had to wet the white tile roof down first, to keep the expensive roof cleaning chemical from evaporating!

LOL, tile roofs in tampa are very common, about 1/2 of all the roof cleaning we do are tile roofs.

Tile Roofs are a way of life here in Tampa. They take much more roof cleaning chemicals, take longer to clean because you must watch run off, and are slippery and dangerous. Plus you must be careful how you walk on the roof tiles, or they can crack! All our tile roof cleaners are small people, no place for a fat azz on a tile roof in Tampa, or anywhere. Many tile roofs in tampa are old and very brittle. For these, we either shoot from a ladder, or use a lift.
I have had roof tiles come loose with no warning, and nearly kill me!
Red Clay Tile Roofs are very much a PITA because the red clay will run all over the property and stain it, if you are not very careful!
It takes a stronger roof cleaning solution to clean tile roofs, and this cleaning solution can kill plants quickly with an inexperienced ground man.
