Below is the set-up rerquirements and procedure for properly setting up your system for use with the talkshoe radio program that RCIA uses to broadcast the "Gary & Jerry Show" Follow these procedures and you will enjoy the shows more and be able to participate at no cost and excellent success.

Go to Walmart(recommended) or some other retailer that sells computer equipment. Purchase a headset and microphone that has 2 plug-in jacks. One for the headset and one for the microphone. ( A USB HEADSET & MICROPHONE WILL NOT WORK ON TALKSHOE) Wall mart sells the one I use for $19.88 and it works great (Logitec Clear Chat Style).  Plug the unit into your computer using the color coded jacks and plugs--color to color.

Go here and create an account if you don't already have one. Please use your forum name so we know who everyone is when your in the show audience. "GUEST" titles will be immediately muted and chat prohibited from this point forward. Only registered users will be allowed to participate in the future.

After creating your account, go here and download this software, which will allow you to use your headset & microphone. The microphone will NOT work without it.

Make sure you click on the installed??---DONE button when complete.

You are now ready to use your equipment for total enjoyment of the radio shows. If anyone would like to test their equipment and fine tune it, PM me and we will set up a test show and work the bugs out with you.

When you try to enter the show, thru the provided link which will be posted, Click on the box containing the show description, Usuall organge in color, or click on the purple box directly below that box that says "Talkshoe Live". It will start taking you to the show and load "talk show pro in the process. Once the call box is visible,  At the lower right corner is a block that says "shoephone---connect" click on that and your in the show and ready to listen and talk. You also access the recorded version thru this same link. Click on the Green block to listen to the recorded show. You can also write reviews at the bottom of those pages, which will help Jerry and myself continually improve the shows. Let us know what you think or would like to see on the shows.

The next show for the general public is Thursday 1-6-11 and the premium members only show is 1-9-11 with a special guest speaker from Delvan Pump Company. General public shows are normallly scheduled for Wednesdays, but I have a board meeting scheduled for Wednesday this week.
