I like to listen to audio books. I can do it while driving and while doing many other things. I can keep learning, and not have to sit and read. I highly suggest this to everyone out there.
I found this Golden Nugget about a year ago. It was given to me by a friend of mine. It is a book called "the strangest secret" by Earl Nightingal. It has changed my life in the past year, and it is still changing for the better. I hope everyone out there buys and downloads this book and listens to it. I listen to it once a week at least. Here is a link to a purchased download.
Audio books are a great way to fill voids, like driving and standing in long lines, waiting at airports etc. It has been awhile for me too Mike, This is a good starting point right here. Love it! Thanks Chris( aka closet comedian) Kim R
Youre not going to get the same from audio as you will with a book. With the book you can underline stuff write notes on THAT page.
But audio is a nice reminder or warmer up to reading the book. My thoughts.
For the Really Good books I get both Audio and the hard copy. but I listen to about 4hrs a day of audio books, while doing other things. You could never get that in every day actually reading it. Did you get the Strangest Secret and listen to it yet? If you truly understand what is being told, it is life changing.

Very interesting Chris, It is only $7.50 why not, I will listen to this next week, the voice is kinda eerie though, reminds me of the 50's and the Twilight Zone narrator.... lol so if I listen to it, will I enter into the "The Twilight Zone",
"You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone"

Just playing with ya.

Actually it was recorded in the 50's for Earl's Sales force in his insurance company.
Earl is the narrator for this.
I use to love watching the Twilight Zone Do Do.... Do Do.... Do Do.... Do Do........
HhhhhhMmmmmm sounds like you saw your share of the show as well. Lol....
Chris, thanks for the info and the link. There is so much information out there that some of us have and some don't. Now that this started and then Mike chimes in with cassettes it makes me want to start digging and looking for the stuff I used to read and listen to. this also reminded me that my Ipod needs to be sent off to get repaired after a light/slight misting while riding in PA it doesn't want to work and I'd love to have the Strangest Secret on there for easy listening.
One thing that I think about when you mention to listen over and over is it really can get some good thoughts stuck in your head. Almost like subliminal messages.
Thanks for the reminder, this post brought back memories, I also used to listen to many speakers. One of my favoriets is THE SECRET. Bob Procter it was on the best sellers list for ever only to be knock off by Harry potter. You can get it in CD, Dvd or the book. The book is a complicated read even for someone that majors in english. The dvd is awesome. The Secret reveals the single most powerful law in the universe. its a must read gents, the book is based on book written over 100 yrs ago BoB Protector is the host in the Dvd, and he himself is one hell of a speaker Bob has many youtube videos if you are interested. Take a look chris, here is the Secrets web site You can watch the first 20 minutes on the web site, just scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the link

You are absolutely correct. Thanks Dave!!!
This was going to be my second suggestion. I listen to the Secret at least once a week as well. It has changed my life completely. I found this second GOLDEN NUGGET a year ago as well. I listen to these on my Ipod weekly to keep the ideas fresh in my mind and also to keep me on my toes to keep doing the things I need to do to be successful. I hope I can get across to at least one member out there, but hopefully many that these are must listen to's and when truly comprehended, will make your life Sooooo much easier and better.
I was introduced to these a year ago by a good friend because it was time for me and my life to find them, learn from them, and implement then. I hope I can help change at least one persons life/business for the better, and really hope many of you please listen to these programs and really understand them.
I also have the movie, and MP4 version on my Ipod video.

I truly wish all here a very prosperous 2011 and beyond.
You guys are a welath of info. Since I joined this forum I've read The E Myth Revisited & Rich Dad- Poor Dad. I'm also working on three books from the library on Internet stuff so I can understand WTF y'all are talking about. Do you think we could consolidate a list of everyones favorite books & stuff?

Thanks Brett,
Your right. Listening over and over gets the concepts stuck in your head. If you just read the book, you loose the ideas shortly after reading because of the day in day out minutia in our lives. If you listen regularly while doing other things, it keeps ideas / concepts fresh on your mind and keeps you doing the things you need to in order to be better / happier etc. I know money is tight for some out there, but these two audio programs will change your life and business for the better. Everyone out there can't afford not to have these to listen to, comprehend, and implement. Anyone else have some good Audios or books they can suggest to help our lives/business?

Art, That is a great idea.
Come on everyone...... Lets us know your favorite books, audio or video programs.
Add them in this post and I will compile them into a list with links to both hard copies and Audio.
