my way of starting the year

S'UP freinds and fowes. i got a call on thursday gave him a price and got the job. i told him i was not sure when i could doit. its around 11:30 right now and its a nice day so i called him up. This guy dont care he siad come on over, i got some left over egg nogg. i laughed and siad we will be there. Now this time my truck is stuck in the snow (like that makes a differance) so if you thought i was a red neck before? i have no way to buy SH at this time! so not only am i going to do this job from a trash can! im going to the supper market and buy 20 1-1/2 gal bottles of clorox bleach.
you may ask your self why not wait till monday? for me its not the money its the challange and thats what keeps you alive in any venture.

Dan I find it funny that you have no snow at all on the roof? Also isn't bleach only 6%? I don't think it will be strong enough but good luck.....atleast theres egg nog.

I would wait til monday cause 20 gal of 6% is still 6%, plus all that snow!!

got er done MY GROOS FOR 2011 IS $600 lol. yes bleach is 6% i got 25 1&1/2 bottells witch was around 40 gal at 6% witch was mixed at 2 to 1 it was a small rancher tryed to take pics but the card was not in camera.

Good job Dan, you wasn't alone, I went out and did a few jobs today too, 63 degs in Virginia Beach, VA since we have had 30 deg days or colder I was like why not. Maybe it will be luck for the New Year. Gotta get it why you can.

  I would assume if you mix 6% one to one with water you make it 3%.

I used straight 6% one day when my supplier failed to show up the day before. i bought 25 gallons from Target. I did not cut it with any water at all. It didnt work that well.

Hey Ed, Did everybody in Target ask you if the bleach was on sale being you had 25 gallons in your cart? Did gallons fall out of your van when you opened the door?disbelief

I never took chemistry, but I would think if bleach is only 6%, wouldn't you get pretty close by using twice as much bleach or only using 1/2 as much water?

Art I would say your correct I would use anywhere from 3-5% so on the strong side you would practically be using the 6% full strength>

If somthing is only 6% there is no way no matter how much of it you add it will increase higher then that. Five gallons of 6% bleach is 6%.....Eighty gallons of 6% bleach is 6%
