All of those options depend on your application.
Everyone has a different situation, and preference
as to how much volume of Chem they are comfortable
putting on a roof. Some can handle 8gpm with good
coverage and little waste, and others can't.
I have been using a 6GPM air pump for  my roofs. I am very happy with it.
The thing you have to consider is you need an air compressor,
the compressor runs on gas, needs oil, is noisy (especially if
you work Sundays ) There is maint. costs associated with the
air pump setups, as well as the Space that the setup take on the
truck/trailer.
I have a Delevan 5 gpm 5800 pump I use for chem transfer between
tanks. I used it a few weeks back to do some roofs and house washes.
It was ok, I'm going to get a Fatboy and truck mount, as they are cheap enough,
and easy to replace on the spot. I will put cam locks on the input and out put
of the pump as well as an electrical plug. I will use the 1/2" Ag hose cause I LOVE it.
AC has used them and says they can make you $30k before replacement
(with proper care and Maint of course) I like buying from PT, they are great to deal with, and I get my stuff in 2-3 days from time of order. Call Bob he will take care of you. I would recommend the Fat Boy because of the ease of use and setup. Hey if you don't like it.......it makes a great Chem transfer pump!! Then you can go with something else. That's my opinion Clyde, I'm sure others will have there opinion as well. You just need to look at your needs, Budget, and how you plan to setup your rig. I am down sizing from a trailer to a truck mount. This will allow me to park in customers drives, and require less hose, which means smaller and cheaper hose reels. I have a subdivision of 5000 new homes I am chasing, and they are very close to each other. This makes it hard to maneuver a trailer setup. I have an F450 12' flatbed for expansion into larger roof cleaning needs when that part of my marketing plan comes around. Again this is the right setup for me, but not necessarily for you or others.

I would go with Delevan 5800 ($129 at PT) with

1/2' hose (Ag for durability)

with 30, 40, 50 tips

and I use a ball valve. You can control the flow

in tricky spots etc.

Is this setup for you Clyde or are you helping someone start out in the roof cleaning business?

The 5800 Delevan would be ideal for a new startup, or for regular use. Many guys have been using a 5800 for many years and like it.

1/2" hose and 40 tips is what I use. I can shoot 35+ feet on a calm day.
I have 30 and 50 tips for special situations. It works great.

go to Walmart and get:

- deep cycle marine battery ($70)
- two Battery boxes ($6-10 each)

Radio Shack or tractor supply:

-20-25 amp switch
-20 amp in line fuse
-12 gauge wire.

I would suggest buying the PUMP IN A BOX from PT.
You get the box wiring, switch all ready to go for $99.
you can't beat it if you do not want to spent time wiring.
