New equipment for Radio Show

Went to Walmart and bought a new head set and microphone for just a tad over $20.00. Nice set up. adjustable volume control and speaker for both ears. very comfortable to wear. Tried it out and I sound great compared to the other one I had.
I would highly recommend that everyone use a set up like this if you are planning on participating in any of the shows. It is free to access the shows this way. Save your cell minutes and/or long distance bill.
This is going to be a regular occurance so plan for it.

Gary,

I'm not sure how the radio show site is setup.....
If it is the way I think it is, the best sound quality
would be to have everyone connect with skype
to you, run everyone through a small mixer to level everyone
out and feed back out to the radio/recording site. We could talk
off line some to discuss technical issues / setup if you like.
Heil PR40 is one of the best Radio/Podcast Mics available.
It is VERY professional sounding, but it should at $285.

That sounds good. Maybe when RCIA gets big enough and puts me on the payroll, I'll get one of those microphones. Until then, you guys are gonna have to suffer with my $21.00.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin.
