Ok i know there are plenty of posts about the hookup of 12v pumps. just wanted to post what i'm doin and make sure i got it right lol. ok i have everstart 675ca deep cycle, a breaker box with 30 amp breaker, and the delavan 5850. i,m gonna run 8 gauge wire from batt to breaker box and connect the hot wire that came connected to the 5850 directly to the other side of the breaker. and run my ground straight from battery to pump.
does this sound like an ok setup? do i need to upgrade the pressure switch or rrelay? all help is appreciated, jam

Hey James! Why not come to the NOVA meeting. I'm bringing my trailer, and I believe Chris Gunther is bringing his big boy truck, hopefully some other rigs will be there!. Instead of being told how to set it up, and pics, touch it and see some setups with your own eyes? Just a thought? Your just south of Dalhgren Va.
hey mike sorry for the slow reply. like i said in the pm, my phone will let me view, pm, and start topics but not do the quick reply, oh well. man i was really looking forward to the nova get-together but my gf's car broke down on me right after leaving home. broke my heart man lol. hope everything went well.

Sounds almost like the way ours is set up... we added a 30amp fuse in line...U got that covered we've never had a minutes problem with pressure switch or relay,etc... using 3/4" inlet & 5/8" outlet feeds... spraying with 0's, 50/30, 50/40...hope this heps..
definitely will man, i dont know where i'd be without them. i'd probably have fallen off of a roof by now and landed on my pump up sprayer full of 6% lol. i've been on a few months now and its amazing how much ive learned. i definitely will be joining as soon as i can afford to because i definitely owe it to the rcia for the wealth of knowledge i've been opened to. its worth way more than the price of admission. thanks for the reply

James if your having difficulties with the wiring and hook up and haven't used the pump yet one option would be to return the pump to PWS and have them ship you the pump in a box unit. It's all done for you. I believe they charge $99 for this. Have a great holiday!

thanks but i'm pretty sure i have it under control. just gotta build me a box and get it all mounted and wired and try it out. how much trouble is it to adjust the pump to where it isn't cycling off and on all the time?
