I cleaned a roof on Saturday an over shot my mix by 25 gallons. I read on here that the soap weakens the mixture over time. I have another roof to do tomorrow. My question is what to do with the left overs. Will it still be effective tomorrow or should I dispose of it and start over, or add to it will new mixture. Please advise. Thanks.

Did you create a new login also? I'm assuming this is kse1221 (Kevin Escue) if not I apologize I just thought it was ironic that he is in Pinehurst and sprayed his first roof Saturday. Any affiliation?

Welcome Steven; You have not started out right by not introducing yourself and asking questions like most new people. This is notappreciated.
Your plan of action should be as follow; Read all the posts until your eyes bleed Re-read all the posts again Keep notes on any questions you may have Use the search function to see if your question has been asked before and answered. I bet you it has! Then proceed to ask questions and everyone will be glad to help.
Become a "paid member" and enjoy the additional benefits. See the 2 different posts on the forum on how to join.
Welcome to RCIA and wishing you much success in your new business Gary
I have posted before, introduced myelf and I wasn't aware of the paid membership As it's been awhile since I was here. II appreciate all the info on this site and have asked two questions in 6 months of reading, I mean really. I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I set up my spray rig, sprayed 10 roofs all through the info on ya'lls forum. It is great. I just wanted someone's opinion on if the mixture would still be good. My apologies. It won't happen again
Steven no one is trying to be a jerk. What they're trying to say is they made you some money from all the info. here; give a little back and become a paid member. Good luck to you.
I know, I got aggravated because I was in a hurry and didn't think I had time to do the searching, turns out I did. So it was my fault, I really do appreciate all the info on here and as soon as I can sit down and figure what I need to do to become a member, I will.
Exactly, I was kinda being sarcastic on my previous comment. The billboard actually isn't very good because it's near impossible to see who the company is or any contact info!
You know what fellow roof cleaner, i think you will be all right, do the finger test if that mix still feels warm SH your ok. go ahead and add the additional mix . you'll be fine. You can always go back and touch up. Quite honestly most of the time i coat then rinse, then recoat trouble spots then rinse. Turns out great everytime. Check my Facebook page out A+ Cleaning/Painting services. Give me some love "like" If you have any questions send me message I won't give you the hassle this forum will. this USED to be a good forum. Now they want the working man to give them there hard earned $$$. Theres so many post on here it take a week to go thru it all. I Love my Job!!!!

There is no need to rinse a trouble spot. If a spot don't take, hit it again with the roof cleaning mix ONLY, then when it is all clean, rinse if you want. Trouble Spots are usually where the algae is especially thick. This is where you need your chemical strong. Rinsing a spot pre dilutes your next chemical application.
Yea I agree Chris , rinsing between applications is counter productive in every respect.
@Steve- This is still a good forum with lots of great info. I don't think there's a question that hasn't been answered through out the many posts on this board. Chris started this board with the idea of helping others in this line of work,...BUT,.Chris,..or anyone else here hasn't any obligation to help anyone. This board owes no one anything,..those who choose to use it are the better for it,....and should be thankful.
