It is terrible from a search engine perspective because your service areas are not on the front page! IF I was google, how do I know where you do your roof cleaning at ?
Thanks Chris. This is the kind of feedback I am looking for as I am new to this. I have contacted web designer and am having him add specific locations we service. I appreciate you taking the time to "school" me on search engines.

Otherwise, it is a really nice site!
Chris,
Speaking of Google and other search engines, would you recommend hiring someone to do SEO on a website or do you think its something that's easily learned? I'm fairly computer literate with Windows based programs but know almost nothing about web design, seo, etc.

you are in a weird position, since you must service so many areas

My web guy quoted me a price for SEO pay per click on Google for $300 set up fee, $150 monthly maintance fee and a pay per click budget set by me. Does this sound like the price is in the right ball park for this type of service?
Looks good. My suggestions are; add a little more relevant keyword rich content to the home page, Fix the Home link on internal pages, add local areas serviced to footer or other, Make phone numbers a little bigger and add a - before and after gallery link (if you have pictures) for customers to view.
Proper SEO is not easily learned or mastered. You can do some on site SEO to build a solid foundation but for ongoing, hire someone.
What's included with SEO? Or are they just doing a managed pay per click campaign? If so, I would setup a ppc campaign yourself and put that money towards SEO.
Make a google Adwords account. Do some targeted keyword research and some research on long-tail keyword. You could get $10-$100 starting credit through certain sites and promotions to test the service out (some cost $5 to activate). There's more to having cost effective campaigns then just setting up an account and adding adds and keywords. Call me if you would like a few pointers..
