Here is a look at a project we recently completed. This was 21 Resident buildings, 1 Club house, and 13 Garages. We cleaned the roofs and did a partial cleaning of the exterior, all using the Softwash system. NO Pressure washers were used during this cleaning ensuring the safety and integrity of the shingles.
We completed this project for Sentinal Corp on time, on budget and with zero Safety incidents.

We used a 45' articulating boom. Kind of a bad choice actually because they don't boom out very much, mostly up and out. A scissor lift or straight boom would have been better.

Scheweeeet! BRO! I got this apt complex I keep looking at the roofs, everytime I drive by. Bad GCM. How did you get it? Should I join those apt. things? I have a chit load of questions. LOL!!
I used a 60 ft articulated before. 4x4. 1,000 a day. Great piece of equipment. Always find the cheapest way to get up there. Looking back I might couldve saved a few hundered.
Great job Scott. Excellent professional job as usual!

should have used a scissor lift? They have no telescoping ability for horizontal access, they are a platform that goes straight up or down. yes a straight boom has more horizontal capacity than the articulating booms
@ Tony - yes I'm aware of what a scissor lift is. The apartments are set in a way that a scissor lift would have been better than the articulating, but not as good as a straight boom.
@ WDE - yep we used the flojet. Only issue we had was a priming one, but we realized it was an air leak that was my fault and once we got that fixed, no problems.

Looks great! At what point do you decide a ladder will not do and decide to rent a lift? In my opinion anything over 2 stories would justify a lift. Also, how much work are you getting just from your truck wraps. Do you ask the customer how they heard of your company? Just curious as I am thinking of a wrap.
Yea 2 stories is as hig as we'll go before getting a lift, for roofs anyways.
Over the last 3 years we had blue vinyl letters and we got between 4-6 calls. Total. Since we got the wraps done we've had 8 calls off of them. Not overwhelming yet, but already more thN the last 3 years combined. You should ALWAYS ask where they found you!! How can you know what's working if you don't?
These are great projects, but they will rarely fall into your lap. You have to be prepared to chase them and be prepared to do what it takes to land them.
