You look more professional in a uniform and are more likely to get the job at a higher price than your competitors. Uniform companies in my area will give you 11 uniforms with company logos on them. Then they pick up 5 each week to be cleaned and leave you 5 cleaned uniforms for $30/month. They take care of cleaning & repairing the uniforms. These are one piece coveralls so your shirt tail never hangs out making you look bad. You can't buy uniforms that cheap.
Don't have time for that at the moment. AC has me busy making too many changes in my company. That is one smart dude! Have you never seen a one piece coverall jumpsuit? Here is an example I found on the web though.
You can toss those long sleeve jumpsuits in the heat if you dare, but in 105 deg heat I wore them in Houston TX because I know what the hell it is like getting rid of sun cancer and was lucky I did. t can kill you. Being exposed to the sun all of the time is just asking for it. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
If your thinking about uniform service... I spent quite a few years in the uniform industry ...ground-up... Marcus...your Wh. jumpsuits is just right they should be65%poly/35%cott... 65/35 holds up well to the Luv... you jump in to do the roof... you jump out for sales, pr, etc... You can get polos.dress pants etc for sales/service etc...lotsa options...
All the reasons given here so far are right on...

Thanks Chris! Obviously you know your uniforms. You hit the nail on the head.
A company whose personel all dressed neatly, consistently and are professional looking can charge prices higher than Joe blows company that runs around in ragged cut off shorts. People usually do not want Joe Blow to clean their roof because he might damage it whereas a professional looking company they think has been around the block a few times, has experience, & will not damage their roof. For that security they will pay more.
After all of the damage the SH has done to our good regular clothes...
We purchased and now wear 100% polyester tan shorts and 100% polyester breathable black shirts and or Dickies light short sleeve 65% polyester coveralls for spraying.
I use uniform company pants and long sleeve t-shirts. The uniform company pants are 50/50 or 60/40 and you can dump straight chlorine on them and they will not discolor.

The rental place seems like a good idea, especially for those with growing employee needs.
We use the Dickies White 65%poly and 35% cotton. I have used the pants and shorts for years, and they hold up very well to the chem, but not to sliding your butt on the roof .
Long sleeve and pants may be hot, but they will save you and your employees from sun and chem exposure.
