Did a white roof today and used the Apple cider sauce mix. Used a lot of Dawn. No Tsp because the house was painted aluminum. Had to shoot it a couple times. Mix ratio 40% SH. Any one else run into this? Could I have done anything different to have it stick better the first time.

So Mike, if a house is painted aluminum you should not use TSP? Good to know. What will TSP do to the paint? Any other situations to not use TSP anybody?
There in the Salem Ill. area, there a ton of older homes. I'm sure most of those still have the stained glass and original bubble glass. I personally would stay away for now and learn your control of spray and run off.
Here in Salem there are a lot of older homes with dirty roofs. I will take your advice Dwayne until I become good at spraying. How much of a difference is there between a batch of love with tsp vs. no tsp?
I only used it a few times, too many things to worry about spraying it on glass, aluminum or dissolving it with hot water...dont have time for all of that got work to do!
I use tsp a lot , I WONT use it if they have sky lights or if I have to do a house wash, I feel it does a better job cleaning, considering Sh is not a cleaner but a destainer

TSP Tri-sodium Phosphate will: remove chalky paint, remove old and weathered paint, etch glass, leave a film on most everything unless rinsed well, and deglaze or degloss most any finish.
If you are prepping for a new paint job or are extremely confident in your spray technique that's one thing. I personally only use it to prep a surface for repainting.
