Have a cedar shake shingle job. I have read all the posts and alot of feedback. I am using Wolman Deck & Fence brightener and than low pressure rinse. Anyone have feedback to offer for a product or am I on the right track with what I am using? Seems like it takes alot of rinse to lift off. Granted they have been neglected.

You can get a more pure version of the active ingredient, sodium percarbonate for much less money by buying the raw ingredient and mixing in a surfactant like NP-9. Try www.chemistrystore.com.

Keep in mind that whether you use the Wolman's or make your own, sodium percarb is a slow mold killer. You are going to need a mid to long dwell time depending what is on there. Nice part about percarbs is you do not need to pH balance (some call brighten) and you do not get that unnatural whitening caused by bleach.
