Google will LIE to you, they read your IP and return results  for where YOU live, since you are doing the search. If you go to Ninja Cloak, it is a proxy server that hides your IP, then you can see what all of us are seeing. Though YOU have been Cleaning Roofs in PA for a long time, you were so busy that many of your competitors went after roof cleaning in Pennsylvania on the Internet before you did. As a result, their URL's are older, and more well established. You know what to you have to do.

Cool, thanks, gents. I know Google will used cached info to change the SERP's you get. I figured it was odd as that roof page hasn't been reindexed since the 21st. The pressurepros URL is strong but I may switch gears and start SEO'ing roofwashPA

I have Rollings Suds at #2 and Roof Cleaning Pros at #14.

I'm gonna see how it goes after a reindex by Google. I did a bunch of blogs, articles, directories and social network stuff the last week or so.

Ken,
     You need to check your google settings on your computer too. Google uses your Google search history to return results similar to things you have search for and clicked on in the past. There are settings you can choose to stop Google from doing that. I had fooled myself for quite a while into thinking I was on the first page because my results were showing that on my computer. I found out by calling my wife at work to tell her to do a seach and look at what came up #1 in the search results. She crushed me by telling me that it wasn't me and in fact, I wasn't even on the first page. That was when I started doing some research to find out why.

The proxy service that Chris listed is great for getting a true picture of where your site is ranking. My laptop is set up so that Google doesn't remember my search results and click history, but my desktop is not. There is a huge difference in the search results on the two computers. In fact, on my desk top I have clicked your web site and Rolling Suds enough times to get contact info that it puts both of you guys ahead of me on my search results all of the time.
