New to the roof cleaning biz - Introduction and advice
Permalink

I just wanted to introduce myself.  I just joined the forum yesterday...been researching for about 2 weeks now.  I own a gutter cleaning business here in North Carolina...Wake County (Raleigh area).  I am adding roof cleaning to my services, and hope to make it my primary service.  I am really eager to get started, so I'm going to clean my dad's roof for free to get my feet wet.  As far as equipment, I want a complete, yet simple, trailer set up.  I came across this today in the equipment forum, and it looks to be exactly what I need.  Any advice would be great.

Hi and welcome. If your looking for something simple that will do the trick, that looks like it should work for awhile. I am not knocking the rig, I am working with a 55gal drum out of the back of my pick up. I have a hose real something like that but I have an enclosed one.
Good luck and happy cleaning.

The Hammer!! I like it Glen.

Brandon, that rig is ok, but I would not use a reel like that. Better off with no reel and coiling them instead of a plastic reel that will break soon.

Thanks guys. What about the price? Seem fair? I guess the reel would be easy enough to swap out

Well you can see his price list. It seems about right, and since its all new it might be for you. I recommend avoiding a trailer if you can, but it's a good start.
