All three of these guys in Tampa preached sell your service and not your price. So when I got back from Tampa I changed around the way I gave my quotes to customers. This week as I collected checks from customers I ask why did you go with me. Not one of them told me becuase I was the cheapest( on avg I was $100 more ). The number one answer was they had the most confidence in me. So guys THANK YOU!!!

The home owners are smart enough to know that the guys that tell them more about the job and let them know what to expect are the roof cleaners they are going to go with.
If people bought on price alone, there would be no mercedes or lexus, or homes in nice areas either. If you have to sell on price alone, perhaps it's time to go back to school ? We are certified roof cleaners, we are better. There is a difference, and that difference must be communicated to your customers. Fail to do that, and all you will have to sell on is price. Communicate the differences, and you will take roof cleaning work away from lower priced, but less competent competitors.

It is so true that you have to sell your service. The price point is the value of the service you created from blood sweat and work. It is the price your clients have showed you they are willing to pay as well for this level of quality. Unfortunettly some people will always get the lowest price for any service. These are not your target customers.

RCIA Certified roof washers are the best! I hope I'm not kicking a dead horse but, well, I donated a roof cleaning yesterday, It went cheap! I'm not saying how much, I'm contemplating giving them their money back, lol!! What they paid is less than my cost. I had certs out for everything but roofs. And pushing roofs?
I'm prob gonna do the wash and popcorn market it. Atleast put a yard sign out, they will be here in a few days.
