Since they are PVC, they will last just fine, but 3/8 will really kill your pumps ability to perform, it is too restrictive, especially at 200 ft lengths. Plus, the small diameter 3/8 hose will find it's way under shingles far too easy, making it easy to rip up a roof.
I actually use that same hose on our soap tanks . We use caustic in our soap mix and it holds up ok, but the sun does a number on it. It gets brittle after awhile. I wouldn't use it for Roof Cleaning. I would be afraid of it cracking and leaking all over Mrs. Jones prized roses. Plus it's just not big enough for the job.

I just replaced 200ft of 3/8" air hose we have been using for 4 yrs with 200ft of kuri tec 1/2" hose.It will work with an electric pump, but 1/2" or 5/8" will make the duty cycle of the pump much longer.
See, I'm not going to be doing roofs alone. If it was my main business, I would buy the Kuritec. I just can't spend that much now and well, this was free!
Any suggestions or pics on how to hook this up the right way?
