wow!!! 15 bucks too! I have my 12 volt pump hooked to bat, still with aligator clips. lol!!! I keep on telling helper I'm going to get a switch, for the side of box, lol!!! So we dont have to take the top off and hook up the bat with the aligator clips. lol!!!
I dont even have a fan on it yet and this Delavan is bad arse!!!
This is a great idea!! I'm just slow to change, lol!!!
Marcus, of Katy powerwash, Others, have some great trailers! I'll be building another next year.
This trailer will be a caddilac! Dual axle, electric hose reels, Roof mix already made up in a tank vs, how I'm 5 galloning it, Hot water unit, Remote kill, (Right now I'm staying 12 volt pumps.), buffer tank, the rest like what I got. I'm not sold still on belt driven power washers.
I want one cause I don't how many times I got to the top of a roof said "ready" ground guys says "ready' then I say FU*#!!!! can you please go hit the switch. This just went to the top of my want list

Ok tech guys...I know marcus has a remote switch for his pw, but anyone know where you can get (if they make it) a remote switch for a 12v?
Maybe a 12v locking mech from a car door?? From the junk yard..
I work alone sometimes and it would help to hit the button from the roof to shut the pump down in a hurry...
Mine is not cheap. You get what you pay for. I have 2 of these and they cost me $1400 eash when I bought them 6 years ago and they are still working. The only thing that has failed are the remotes which are not water proof. They failed because it rained on them. When it rains I put them in a zip lock bacg and have had no problems since.

They are working part time now I think due to the economy because they answer the phone worse than Lori @ PWP...lol and that was not the way it was 6 years ago.
This PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is military grade. It is epoxy encapsulated and mounted in a Nema 4 box. This makes it impervious to SH fumes. It has military grade electrical connectors on the box so that SH fumes do not penetrate it.
Mine is capable or starting and stopping a pressure washer from up to 300' away. It has 2 other switches that have a 12 volt steady output on or off. This is the outputs you would use for a roof pump. You connect the outputs to the controls of a relay that is rated for the amperage of your roof cleaning pump. Connect the hot lead of the relay to a 12 Volt battery and the switched end of the relay to your roof pump and viola you can turn your roof pump on & off from up to 300' away.
I have Radio Link Remote Control MPI P/N RWC-22207A.
If you call them I would appreciate your telling me that I referred you to them and call me & I will work you through how to hook it up.
If you are working on a roof with a 12 volt pump this is the way to go. If a hose should tear or burst you can turn it off immediately or when you are not using it.
Just bought it. What is the range that it will controll within? I am cleaned many roofs that were almost up to 300' away. You get what you pay for I have found. I highly suggest sealing all openings to the remote with RTV as SH fumes will corrode it otherwise.
I Tried it on my 5850. It worked at about 300'. I didn't try it any further away. It is rated at 15 amps max. I didn't try it on my Fatboy. The Fatboy is rated at 20 amps max. Don't know how often the fatboy actually pulls 20 amps. It came with 2 key fobs. I will break out the measuring wheel tomorrow and see exactly how far I can go.

Usually you use the most amps when you start the motor. You can run the 12V output of your remote to the input controll pins of a 25amp relay. Connect the input side of the relay to your 12V source and the output to your Fatboy. That way your remote turns on the relay which in turn turns on the Fatboy. Good Luck!
Awesome this is exactly what I've been looking for. I use a High Flow pump #5275088 from T.S. Interested in how well it will work with that. Obviously the price aint bad. I work alone sometimes. This should save a few trips up and down the ladder!
