Be patient but don't stop working on it. Submit your sit to as many directories as you can. Try to get as many backlinks as possible. Google loves backlinks! Your meta tags and desriptions are important as well.

Oh and another thing. Add some more pages to your website. Add a services page for one.

Google, free website submission. submit your site to as many search engines as you can. Do this once a week. Keep adding content to your website. As you add content, resubmit to search engines. Make sure your title page don’t have your business name in it. More people search for what they are looking for rather then a company name. Go to yahoo and Google business and put it there for free. It will put you on the 1st. Page of your local town. This should get you started if you don’t want to pay someone.

Thsi is an awesome suggestion and has worked for me very well. Just make sure you don't turn yourself into spam though. It is a great idea to at least have a pro look at your stuff every once in a while, they can tell you if you are on the right path

Great point on the title page. So make it something like Roof Cleaning Louisville Ky or what ever.
