Tuesday we did our first roof with our fatboy and it went great. I did have 1 issue tho. At the end I had a couple dormers left and I let one of my guys do them. He was spraying them down and a fuse blew. He said that he had the ball valve half way opened. Would that cause that to happen? I also seen another problem. Do you guys have your ball valve on a quick connect so when you are rolling up the hose it doesnt drag the ground? Thanks.
I ve been running a fatboy for over a year never have I blown a fuse due to my ball valve being half opened, I run it half opened alot also.. How far is your pump away from the battery? and what gauge wire are you using ?

I also have NEVER blown a fuse in over a year. I run my fatboy quite often where it cycles on and off when I get close to the gutterline. Are you using 3/4" hose? You should be if you want good results. Could have been just a weak fuse also.

Im using 12ga wire and its less then 5' to the battery.

this could be your problem, the battery should be right next to the pump i would say no more than 18" of wire , 5' of wire is way to much wire .. I think we have ours within 12".. try this and it will more than likely solve your problem
