I had an interesting call a couple days ago.  A fellow with a roofing company called and said he got my name off this site.  He had just bought some roof cleaning equipment he said and a barrell of sh.  He said the sh tore him up, and he didn't have any idea how to use the equipment.  I believe he said he had a cat pump, which I know very little about because I use a 5850.  Anyway, he wants to pay me to come show him how to use his stuff and teach him how to clean roofs.  I told him I learned nearly everything I know on here, but he said he didn't want to take the time to read and wanted me to tell him what I know.   He also said something about putting me on a retainer as a consultant. 

I am just a country boy who cleans roofs to make a living.  How much should I ask for to teach him what little I know, and what about a retainer price. 

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
