I just received an email from Bob at Laffetry Equipment. Check out their Airless Foamer video, see what you think ? Here is Bob's email to me.
Hey Chris,
It's been awhile but I thought of you with this one. Check out the video and see if you think it fits anywhere. Airless foam with a 50 ft twin line. Can hook it to a spigot on the side of a residence and create wet clingy foam with good throw. Drew thinks a wand extension could pick up another few feet in distance. No air, no pumps, no high pressure water. Does this belong on your forum?

I have invited Bob from Lafferty equipment to the forum to answer the questions sure to come about this foamer. It looks like you don't even need a pump, just water hose spicket ? Now, lets explore this assumption ? If it will spray this good with little water pressure, what will it do if you put a lot of water pressure into it ? I have many questions about this foamer
It looks good but will it work for roof cleaning and what we use? It seems that looking at the videos of all the fomers, they don't spray greater then 19' and the max hose lenght is 50'. One question would be, at a distance greater then 50' what is the drop in psi and spray distance? My second question is, do you need to use a portable station if the distance is greater then 50'?

I don't know much about these foamers except they don't even use a pump, just water pressure. I guess you place a chemical bucket by the water spicket and foam away ? I have concerns as to the ultimate draw rate.
Hey Chris I was reading through and came across hastelloy chemical strainers. Catn find anything about that. on another note which is better Viton or EPMD..

I have been working towards a foaming system for exterior cleaning for a few years. I have even bought a foaming pump sprayer. The system is obviously simple, just add air and a good foaming agent.
From what I know the best way to get good distance from a foamer and to keep your SH hot is to add the foaming agent at the last second such as a 2 hose system. This helps keep it solid and controlable.
I purchased my hand pump foamer and have the utmost faith in a company called. I have talked to them several times and they know the foaming business well.

Just got an email back from the guys at Innovative and they said that their unit is 100% acid proof and safe. 30 gallons of foam per minute can switch from an acid foamer to a nutralizer by just flipping a switch. only needs 5 cfm at 40 psi Have units that spray from 25' to 35'

Hastelly is a Metal with an A rating against SH, but is very expensive. Viton is better than epdm, They are both A rated but experience has shown that Viton will last longer. Search the web or the forum for a Sodium hypochlorite compatibility chart. They are all over the place provided by manufacturers.
