What Equipment Should I Start With?

What equipment should I start with? Is there a company that sells the equipment ready to start cleaning houses? Any suggestions on where to buy the equipment, maybe a website?

Do a search for PWP on this site, Lori is always willing to help out the new guys, the website info is in her postings.

Others claim to have 'box kits' that fool you into thinking thats all you need, way off, I'm at $2K with my set-up and have yet to clean a roof(long story). and I bought the 'box kit'.

Search equipment and start writing things down, some have built their rigs on really tight budgets and started making money off the bat.

I think the market is there, $5000. to re-roof, or $500. to clean it, homeowners decide.

Fill out your signature, bio, name and location in your profile. People will be more willing to help if they know who you are.

It seems to me the kits are a lot more expensive then if you were to price it separately. I don’t like spending money so I shoped around. You can find things you need or are looking for then ask what people think about it. More often then not you will find someone on here that has used it and will give you good advice about it. That is what I did.

I am new also. I found it is best to use the forum search i.e tanks, pumps, hoses, rigs, etc. and read all feedback and than post your questions. Once I read more I found the answers to the questions I posted. Now I search before I ask.

As to equipment, Lori was good about putting me into a start up with the basic's, though I did my research first so I knew what she was talking about. There are things you can find locally once you understand what you will need.

This forum and these guys will help you.

Craigslist and Ebay can be your friend when putting together your first rig. Just be patient and look around and you will be surprised at what you can find.
