Dear Greg: This July, we had our roof cleaned by Five Star Cleaning Systems. Workers cleaned our roof but killed seven shrubs with chemicals while doing it. I have contacted company president Sandy Cohen at least nine times. He keeps saying he will replace the shrubs, but he makes appointments and never shows up. I am getting really tired of the dog-and-pony show. I should have checked with the Better Business Bureau before dealing with this character.
ROY CRUCIATA
Dear Roy: Yes, you should have. Five Star has an unsatisfactory record with the BBB because of an unanswered complaint. I've been to dog shows, and I've been to pony shows, but I've never been to a dog-and-pony show. So this was a first for me. I spoke to a Bruce and a Paul, but never reached Sandy. According to them, Five Star killed only two of your shrubs and has ordered replacements. When I noted that the other five shrubs also had shriveled and died, Paul said the company might go 50-50 to replace those. How generous. I would not call that Five Star customer service.

This was real stupid, you kill someones plants, you replace them, kinda teaches you not to do it again.
