L.L.C. vs Sole propritor or Co.

I noticed in the forum that many Co.s listed are not listed as a LLC. Is there a problem operating as a sole proprietor or Co. ? Your asset protection is obviously much greater with a LLC., but it seems that many businesses operate as a single owner co.

I would recommend forming an LLC due to liability factors.  A single member LLC is a simple way to form your LLC and the costs are about the same as forming a sole prop.  You can try www.Legalzoom.com to help you form your LLC at a cost effective way and a much simpler process also.  Good luck!

LLC might cost you a couple hundred upfront but is worth it in the long run. And don't forget your can expense start up costs.

Go LLC. Its also 10,000 times less liability in case something should happen.
