I have a couple roofs to clean and the both have gutter guards.One has the gutter helmet type caps and the other are aluminum inserts  that sit inside the gutters with preforated holes to let the water through and have a clear rubber gasket that seals up against the facia board.I havent ran across these yet and was wondering if the love would just find its way into the gutters like water is supposed to.Or Because of the soap making it a little thicker than water will it just run over the top and on to the ground if I put a little to much on.Both roofs are pretty steep.    Thanks

Hey bud keep in mind that in the perfect situation with no wind and the right pitch and all that good  stuff you shouldn't have to worry about it. Because you don't want any runoff. So what I'm saying is if you clean the roof and get nothing in the gutter then you are damn good, so keep trying to get that right flow

No roof is really flat so its tough but after a while it will become easier, just take your time man, that is the best way, play with your nozzles too.

before long you will Schenect the dots!

The answer is yes rinse all the gutter and any gutter after you do any roof.

Gutter guards work like crap!

They still let enough leaves and pine needles in to clog the downspouts and hold everyting up where you can see it.

I too suggest to all my customers that I do them the favor of taking them out and throwing them away. Every single one has agreed so far!

Just unleash the (No-Drip) on shingle roofs. Now if anyone can do a no drip on a Barrel Tile Roof then they are "thee man". I did an almost No Drip on a flat tile roof before just a few tiny drips here and there and then I made big drips with water hose when rinsing it. Oh well.

But yes, always rinse the roof, gutter guards and yes gutter guards are junk. They collapse in or let in debris that clogs the downspouts and certain ones you can't get out to get the debris and the worst is the gutter helmet it helps the chemical fly off the roof by 5 or 6 extra feet outwards when rinsing.
