OK....here's what I'm usually faced with in Tallahassee...land of the trees! Stuff like this makes the option of not walking the roof not really an option at all.
Of course the gutters were jammed packed with debris, plant life, and more! Took longer to clean the gutters and remove the deadfall, than it did to clean the roof! I asked the homeowner when the last time he had the gutters cleaned and he just shrugged and said "well, never."
Clean roof pictures comming soon!

You should try and get you a ladder standoff/stabilizer. Protects the gutters from scratches and are much safer than a sliding ladder across slippery aluminum. I agree, people who don't properly maintain their gutters should just remove them.
On my door hangers Offer a special of a "Free Roof Blow and Gutter Cleaning" with purchase of a roof wash. Its something I typically charge for, or use as a deal sealer to ink the job.
I know most people don't disclose their prices, but I will for discussion sake!
For example this job here:
225 Roof
200 house wash
150 Concrete
100 Gutter & Blow
50 Roof
Total of $725, however in this neighborhood, with these customers, there was NO WAY i could get $725.....I've got competition who would gladly do it at 1/2 that price.
I offered them a package deal at just less than $500...they were happy and jumped on the deal.
I was happy, as I still ran my rig in a profitable manner.
BTW, they just called on getting their roof gutters cleaned, so in my mind I added another $200-$250 to the bottom line of this appointment!

That looks like a lot of the Roofs we have been Cleaning lately. One of them took my guy 50 minutes to blow all the debris off. Not to mention Cleaning and blowing off the mess on the ground.
Always figure they are going to need their gutters cleaned, always. Stand offs for ladders. The 24 is bolted on and I paid 50-75 for one that goes on and off for the 40 ft. at Lowes or Depot. On combine deals, like a house, roof and concrete wash or whatever I tel them the regular price for each take off some cash for the combine deal, and ask to do up a contract NOW.
