Heres the deal. First of all I dont have pics loaded on the computer so take my numbers and create an image.
Weve got a set of apartment roofs to bid. Ive crunched the numbers and I just havent found a number that I feel is right. My question for those of you who do larger projects is how much do you discount for volume? I know when we pressure wash large projects I will get down to maybe a quarter of what I would price for resi work. Im not doing that for roof cleaning.
Dont worry about pricing this thing. Im just curious as to how much you would cut prices for this size of a job. PM me if you prefer.
Basically this place is 15 buildings all 3 story. Average 7500 sf footprint. 6 pitch. Gutters.
Something else to take note of is I doubt this would all be done at once. I honestly think they will choke over my price lol so I thought Id get other opinions on this.
Find something you can easily clean for free as a demo before you price anything. Normally for large properties you do want to cut prices a little, but only 10-15% usually works. That is only if they do them all at once. If they break them up, price them at your normal rate.
You'd be suprised how much some PM's are willing to pay and not choke. Ive thrown out rediculous numbers on properties I didnt want to do, and had a signed contract the next morning.
