The first two pictures are of my 1990 Mitsubishi FUSO, as I’m sure you noticed , I took the Mitsubishi emblem off and put a FORD emblem on to look as America made as possible.
The next picture is of my hose reel …200 hundred feet of hose and 100 foot of rinsing hose …..the big tank in the back ground is for signage while I wait for that big job or 4 houses in a row……that is why I am using tie straps instead of cable…(got to get cable after seeing "deandog21"kick ass rig).
The next pic is of my tool box that I had “line X” shoot for me so it would match my side rails. It is lockable and holds all of my tools and rubbers gloves…etc….
The next pic shows my 55gal tank plumed so you can pull the “LOVE” or pull water through…. so the pump can be rinsed ..battery box with deep cell, switch and delavan 5850……..again the tank needs to be cabled and not strapped…
The next pic shows my wheel simulators …… stainless steel wheel inserts so my “Rig” does not look like a school bus.
The next pic is of my solar cell so I can charge my battery all day long…. completely removable in case of rain or thieves…..
Last but not least Clyde……this picture is just for you…..this is how I keep my pump cool…( HA HA ) cool right…get it “cool”
Mike, Looks good. Everything in it's place. The straps are o.k just keep an eye on them. I use straps because my system is a closed system not shc should get on them. May want to add another barrel for down spout bags.
Thanks Clyde,.......... I’m glad that you were the first to reply as well. As far as the hose reel goes, I got lucky and found it on Craig’s List, slapped a coat of paint on it and it was no where near as good as new, but close............. I don’t believe the manifold is stainless steel but for what I paid for it, I did okay............ I will put up some pictures of the little jobs that I have done and I’m really looking forward to doing more...................... Around here it is like everybody’s grass is tall and I have the only lawn mower. There is enough roofs for 10 of us, maybe even 20.
Unfortunately the bed is steel and a real pain in the butt to drill through…….I have been having a great time building it. My friends that don’t understand what I’m doing are all asking me why am I putting all this money into this truck………… I have been telling them that it is no different than dumping a bunch of money into an old "hot rod"…………this one will be more than just a Sunday driver.
