GETTING STARTED

I want to start by saying THANK YOU. early this winter i got on here and started reading ive done roof cleaning before. but i did not have any knowledge on it. i have been waiting and waiting to get out and get started. i have the equipment to get started from my father and his friend trying to start the business but were unable to because of my fathers painting company keeping him to busy. i'm 25yrs old and have been married for 8 months and now im trying to start a little business. ive got everything in my little ford ranger, it fits for now. i just thought and felt it was the right thing to do to write and thank all of those on this forum. you all have so much knowledge and i have just been addicted to reading everything, its actually gotten me in a little trouble when the wife is trying to talk to me and im so focused on reading on here. ive only asked one question on here so far. i feel that i should read everything before i start asking. i dont want anyone to think im stealing there hard work of finding what works. so i hope in the future i can add some of my ideas to this forum. THANK YOU again

im starting with:
60gal tank
delavan powerflo series 5.0 gpm 60 psi
200' of hose
50 yard signs.
liability insurance
i have a few roofs to get started on for practice.
The good marketing tips has got me ready to go door to door.
THANK YOU and i will keep you posted on my progress

We share pretty much the same story. I have tried to not to ask repeat questions, only to find that every thing I could ever imagine has already been discussed here.  I thought my wife was mad with me to when I first started too, but she has been very supportive and now points out dirty roofs before I do.  Even my 2 year old rides down the road saying "its filthy".  I have almost identical setup mounted on a 5x10 trailer pulled by my S-10.  Works like a charm
