You can write Blogs on the Merchant Circle Page about new products you sell, etc, etc, etc.
You can even search merchant circle for pressure washers in florida, and send out invitations to connect to you!
Any pressure washers in florida that belong to merchant circle will come up in the search.
A quick and dirty way to get yourself in front of hundreds of potential customers!
Once you have them IN your circle Lori, you can send them out newsletters you make on merchant circle!
Say for instance, you got a great buy on surface cleaners, or P/W hose ?
Just make a newsletter about the sale, takes about 5 minutes, and hit the button, and presto, every one in your network gets it

Chris is right. I figured out how to get over 700 hits and 67 google crawlers on my site in less than 3 weeks. Very powerful stuff if you Take the time in developing the site. check mine out it is ranking awesome. I fear it will out rank my web site in a few weeks.

Yes, creat a merchant circle, then they have blogs on their pages you can make.
But right on the merchant circle page, you can place a link to your web site!

This is all about what Randy Hew is talking about in this thread Small Business Websites

He talks about building a ring of trust for Google Local Search.
Merchant Circle is just a part of the big picture we try to paint to Google.
Google is our friend, but like a Dog, we must tell it what we want it to do.
It wants to please us, if we tell it how ?

Merchant Circle is great, just another "cog in the wheel" for the circle of trust Don talks about in his SEO and Website Blog.
When you create Blogs, newsletters, etc, etc on MC, be sure to have your company name, address, and phone number on all of them.
This is important for Google Local Search, and every page of your business web site needs the same.

You first name the link, then you paste or write it in.
That is called a text link.

I agree with that and we have 6 free Ugly blogs all linked back to the main Web site and we have also have facebook and merchant circle with everything linking back to the main website.
