i do pressure washing,i would like to get into roof and gutter cleaning.need to know the equipment needed,some instruction,most of all pricing.really need the help

Good Lord, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.  Lots of lazy horses out there it seems to me.  Some of them need an IV and a hospital bed.

Pat Motz, I like the way you said that. I use the search button for finding information but can't always assimilate everything based on what comes up.

One of the things that I hear most often from a personis that he has been reading for months and knows keywords and basic ideas but does not seem to be able to assimilate all of the information. I love this site because we are gentle with each other. We help each other out, respectfully.

Should anyone ever need help or need to ask a question, please CALL me!!! I will take the time to answer you. Trust me, I ask the rediculous questions!!!!!!

It may be a good idea to find a roof cleaner on this board that is from your state. Contact them, and maybe you can set up a free labor for learning lesson.  There's alot of info. on this board but hands on experiance from a professional is deffinately the best way to learn.

You are in Pennsylvania,,we have some Certified roof cleaners there, hook up wth them, labor for learning, and learn our Trade.

I don't think the guy is lazy.  He is just new to the site.  How about showing some respect.  I don't care if you have 1 post or 2000 posts, have some respect for people.  You are being a smart alec to a grown a** man.  You could have just answered his question or sent him in the right direction.

The one thing I've noticed is it's very difficult to get the information you need. You guys say use the search engine, yet it lead me here to this particular post. I have yet to find anything anywhere that spells out step by step what is needed. It's like I'm supposed to read for readings sake.

Oh believe me, all the information you need is here. But some people think you should come in, hit the search button and leave. If that was the case, their would never be anymore discusssions. Some guys have worked years and years at this roof cleaning stuff. Then they share their knowlege in one place and along comes mr new guy wanting all the answers handed to them on a silver platter. But hey, it may be just because they got a face full of SH earlier that day and you're the first person to take it out on. Nonetheless, happy reading.

This site is for the best of the best and it is all free education by the way. I am honored to be a part of it. The goal is for you to educate yourself and if you don't want to be a hack then you will put your time in and be grateful to those guys who are are taking the time out of their schedule to help guys like us so that one day we can give back.
