Hey guys new service for contractors was advertised on Fox news channel I sign up then read reviews should of did that in reverse 90% bad reviews by customers and contractors so be careful !!
It is a long process on the phone. You must provide a reference. You provide a credit card # You will be one of the contractors they will text with a possible lead. You will be charged $18 weather the lead answers the phone or not. I cancelled after the first contact. Good Luck
That's weired.I canceled my account today.Let me tell you about service magic. they did absolutely nothing for me .Accept take money out of my account.they promised big returns on the money i had invested in them. All i got was a bunch of TIER KICKERS.
Remember guys They Need You ,You Don't Need Them.service magic should pay us.
They have contacted me several times and they always promise first page rankings on Google and I don't see them on the first 2 pages here. What happens is that they send you the lead and they also send the same lead to up to 4 others in your area. You still get charged even if you get the job or not.
I would rather pay someone $50 per month for this type of advertising instead of per lead. Basically they get about $100 for every lead and it may or may not come to fruition for any one.
I was signed up with them for last year and got 2 jobs off of it and the one job the guy sent my info to a property managment buddy and ended up doing a $1800 job for him. If it wouldnt be for the reffrence I would be mad at them also. Its alot of headache to get hooked up and at the end of the summer I called to cancel and they said a 10% return is pretty good cause all I got was 20 leads and two jobs. At $12 bucks a lead you would think it would be better than that. I agree with what was said before-tire kickers

I could write pages on my experience with SM... but I will just say it made me money but I canceled them because they charge too much, sent unqualified leads, I would would have needed to hire someone just to contact the HO before others did. HO's usually go with the first person to call.
Just don't use them. If you go online and search for reviews you will see that they are bad news...
My insurance agent told me he had a lot of contractors that reported good results from them.
But for me, with the cost at 12 dollars and them sending it to 3 others guys it wasn't worth it. I think of them as competition...they make 48 dollars per lead!

I signed up with them about 3 months ago but I was very restrictive on the service and area -- I didnt want to get leads for general pressure washing for people that I knew would only be searching for the lowest price. So far I have zero leads from them = zero out of my pocket. But I do see my company pop up on web searches from being listed with them.

on Roof Cleaning searches in my area, Im rated higher than Service magic and could not grasp why someone would want to fill out all the forms just to get a contractor when all they had to do was call me... I RAN RAN RAN

Use the Money to join the BBB and Angies List instead Guys! I tried Service Magic 7 years ago. I got charged for "leads" I went out on where the roof was already CLEANED by a competitor, weeks before I ever got the freaking lead! A Rip Off, IMHO
