Hey, thanks for taking time to read this message. My name is clay and I am new to the site. I had a couple of questions for you about the business and some concerns that I have. Right now I am a golf professional and I do some home improvement on the side. I have cleaned some roofs and I would like to get into this full time. I just kind of wanted to know what to expect as far as the business goes. I plan on running an ad campaign and spending a couple thousand a month to get the word out. I'm going to try and keep cost down by purchasing used equipement, and only one other employee. Can I realistically look at surviving off of this business in year one? What type of income before expenses do you think is likely. I just don't want to quit working and go after it, if I can't live off of it. Thanks.

One of our cleaning members recently cleaned a roof that belonged to a golf professional In Lexington, would you by any chance be that gentleman?
I have been cleaning them a little different, with store bought roof cleaners, that I have found to be inconsistant in cleaning. They get the job done, but not flawless. I plan on switching over to what you guys are doing. I am ging to use an all-flo pump with apple sauce, 300 gallon tank. All my business is word of mouth. But I plan on advertising a lot in the spring. I would also love to hear any rig recomendations youall may have.
