Ok everyone, it may be me being a lil nosey but....... How many jobs do you do on average in a day... And what is the average number jobs done in a year....
I've completed 25 jobs since Oct 09. Still learning how to be more efficient and hope to do 2 to 3 jobs per day or bill out at 1,000 to 1,200 per day come spring. If there is enough work a second crew will be added. I'm in an untapped market in NJ.
I did a 117 roofs this year. That includes residential and commercial. I have a contract with KinderKare Learning Centers so that was probably about a quarter of them. I also did 54 preventive cleanings, not quite the numbers of Gary. I don't have the fortune to clean all year. Hopefully I'll hit those numbers next year. I also work a full time job, for benefeits, and do LOTS of pressure washing.

Ok Ladies and gentlemen, once again I am posting the outline of our Preventative Maintenance Program.
Once we have cleaned a roof, be it tile or shingle we offer the customer our Annual Preventative Maintenance Service.
Under this program we guarantee the roof to remain "fungus free"
Annually the roof is inspected for loose shingle, tiles, ridge vents and sheathing boards. If we find any of these imperfections it is noted on the invoice as we are not roofers.
Loose debris removed from the surface when walkable with a leaf blower Gutters are blown out with a leaf blower when gutter guards are not present. We then apply a misting to the roof to kill the fungus spore before it germinates, thus leaving the roof fungus free. 15 gallons of SH, 85 gallons of H2O and 2 heaping cups of laundry detergent. This is enough to do 3 to 4 average roofs.
We have been doing this for 20 years with great success.
We have a Maintenance Agreement the customer signs when entering the Maintenance Program which authorizes us to perform the service annually during the month the roof was originally cleaned.
Service can be canceled in writing 30 days prior to scheduled service.
Cost for Preventative Maintenance is equated by the original cost of the roof cleaning divided by four.
Example if they paid 425.00 for the cleaning, the cost for annual maintenance would be $106.25 , we would round it down to $100.00
