The SH will not damage the mortar or the brick. However, if you have any doubt at all clean a test area about 12"x12" that is behind a shrub or on the back side of the house. Let it stand for 24 hours or overnight and see what happens.

I like to try the Love on everything that is dirty using this technique.

SH works well on brick but I think you should hit it before it dries. It becomes harder to clean after it dries. I use turbo nozzles but careful not too damage. Especially brick like the kind on this porch. Its usually brittle in this area but you have to use pressure or it wont clean.

Is the term "softwashing" a refference that we should be useing for roof cleaning OR is it a term that is used only for bricks, concrete, siding, etc.?
