Advertising on billboards? I've thought of that for advertising pressure washing. There are the localized billboards, but you'd have to do more than one. Then there are the big pricy ones on the highway. It may help when you double up with a flyer and people may recognize that they saw you somewhere before. It's tough because you spend money everywhere and you never know where its going to come from. I've been advertising on placemats in diners and they've been working out pretty good for me. I agree Valpak never worked well, unless you're selling pizza. I've been also thinking of Postcard.com. A friend used them when he was selling condo units. He spent 5 and got his return when he sold one unit. They have a great website and seem to have it together. They will print nice postcards for mass mailing. They can target your demographic however you'd like.
Yeah man NP. Check your area for Placemat advertisement. I'm telling ya people dont even know they're lookin for your service until they sit down and see your add. And all those people who go to eat after church on Sunday, I cant tell you how many calls I've gotten from clients who were at the diner, eatin they're lunch, call me and say, "Hey I see your add here at the diner!" as if I didnt know I was there. Mostly they'll wait till the next day. Apri thru June is a very heavy phone call month on Mon and Tues.
