A very weak cider mix will work. I mix mine real light for these like 1-glSH to 15gl water 2lb TSP and no ISP, surfacant as needed and then stiffen it up some with more SH if needed. (Obviously don't want to start too strong on fabric, but I think you have been using this stuff alot longer than me??, you'll be fine!!) I always rinse siding or cloth after using light luv on them. As for first or last I think I would do them last incase any black stuff got on them from roof and or gutter cleaning.

With the light luv let it dwell 10 minutes or more before deciding to stiffen it up.

Test spot as well??

This could be a problem... I recently cleaned a roof with a white patio enclousure.   I was very careful not to get over spray on top of this enclousure however I went back to see the roof after a good rain and noticed a small amout of white paint at the bottom of the downspout.
So even if you take the precautions including wetting the  areas  the overspray can be an issue.

I agree with Bill - start with a very light solution and spray it twice if it's not clean. Cloth fibers are easy damaged by SH and can turn to mush. However that outdoor fabric (canvas, maybe?) is stronger and might be treated with Polyethylene glycol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyethylene_glycol) or something similar to prevent fading and general wear and tear. Always test a hidden spot first to make sure. That being said, the fabric will come clean! Good Luck.

We washed the deck after with Sodium Precarbonate. At this dilution the luv will not harm plants or grass!!
