i have a client that had his house painted about a year ago, they used an oil based primer and over sprayed about a 4 foot strip all around the perimeter of his house just above the gutters.Making the shingles darker. and on one small side paint got all over the shingles. will LOVE clean this? if not what will? If you are wondering what is wrong with the paint the painter used a oil based paint on cedar siding and applied the paint right after power washing

Sounds to me ,live with the shingles or replace, anything thats going to take oil based paint off is going to be rough on the shingle, i guess the painter is long gone

we are using univar out of STL cost just a bit over $2 gal for 12.5% 53 gal drum but good news is that they will deliver to Columbia for only $25 fuel charge for orders over $200. so 2 barrels. if i dont need that much a local hardware store has 10% gals. for $3 not good but not too bad either. but the house pictured above is a gutter cleaning client of mine he knows we clean roofs and I explaned how ect.. and was wondering if it would clean the overspray, not wanting to make promises i cant keep thought i would see what people had to say here

I just did a job of cleaning a concrete patio by a pool deck that was painted and some of the paint was on the concrete with a lot of mold also. I used some love mix on it first then p/w and even then some of the paint would not come off the concrete. So I don't think it will take it off the shingles.
