I recieved a call the other day to look at a metal roof. How do yall price these and what goes into cleaning them. I will try to get some pictures on tonight.

I just signed one today. Quoted about 50% more than I would an asphalt shingle roof cleaning here in Evansville Indiana. The time it takes (thanks Pat) is significantly more than what a shingle roof would take, thus the increase in cost.

Never bid or do an estimate on a metal roof when it is wet, they all look good when wet. Oxidation does not show up when the roof is wet, most metal roofs that are 7 to 9 years old will be oxidated. Green is the worst color with Red being second.
Charge 30 to 75 cents per square foot.
